Referrals
Purtell Occupational Therapy Services considers referrals for clients funded through a range of funding bodies including:
- Transport Accident Commission (TAC)
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Medicare
- Private Health Insurance
- WorkSafe Victoria
- Self-funded
Referrals can be made directly by phone or email. One of the many benefits of working with a small company is that you will be speaking directly with your clinicians from the time of referral.
If a funding body is involved, written approval may be required prior to appointments being made.
After your referral has been processed, the treating clinician will contact the client or next of kin to schedule their initial appointment.
